Just got in the bricks from my Pick-a-Brick order from Lego! Took over a month to get to me from Europe, but soon I will finally be able to build the ultimate 2019 Sentinel models I designed months ago on LDD! P.S. Those clear blue parts won't be u

I just happened to stumble my way back to this site after over a year since my last upload, but when I saw those precious few notifications that people were seeing some of my amateurish pictures and adding them to their faves, it reminded me that this is where I began, when I first wanted to share my creations with the world in whatever small capacity I could. After all this time, I've transitioned to mainly two hobbies other than gaming: Gundam kits and tank-collecting. For the former, I build Gunpla plastic models at varying levels, usually just snap-building them with minimal extra effort to make a sort of "do-it-yourself" action figure. But every once in a while, I take on a big project and paint up a kit, typically with some customization/modification of the original design. Since my free time as a college student (going into my 3rd year) is limited, I don't do this very often. Pretty much just once a year, and only if the budget allows. Since my last creation posted on

Man, it's been so long, I'm not sure what's changed more- me or this website! Let's see if this image rotates...

Hey thanks for the watch and the fave! I'm really glad you liked the Conestoga!

Hey, no problem! I can appreciate a good ship design haha, but another factor in the watch was how I noticed that you also seem to have a long-running friendship with drskytower as well!

I only log into Deviantart once in a blue moon nowadays, but back in the day I used to chat with Dr Skytower a lot about Sentinels and Halo, a shared obsession of ours. I apparently left a comment of hers hanging on one of my posts for over a year (!!!), and went to her comment history to see if she had been online recently.

Unfortunately she doesn't seem to have any recent activity, but I noticed that she was talking to you a good bit! I recognized your username and figured I should watch you too since I recall being mentioned by Skytower on a few occasions in your message threads haha

lol oh my, goodness yes! Doc and I are friends from way back! I believe she and I first started talking very shortly after I first became a member of DA! I forget which one of us contacted the other first, lol but it was back when I was doing my Halo fanfics! lol I remember she enjoyed mine a lot, and over the years, I've enjoyed and featured some of her sentinel designs, as she has with mine; as well as conversations about a lot of my other works as well!

I don't blame you though getting on here not once but every once in awhile. The site has changed and it's just not the same place anymore. It's running on the fumes of nostalgia, and they're running out fast. Still, I hope we both get to talk to her again more in time! I know she's still around here, but again, not very often. I know she'd get a kick out of my designs for the Cure from my Will To Survive setting!! lol and in fairness, I've accidentally left some of her comments sit for awhile too! It's this new awful layout of the site! It makes it so easy to lose your mail and forget things!

lol and goodness, such flattery! All I can say is that I'm honored that I stood out or was at least noteworthy!

Haha, glad to hear it! I had a similar story of meeting her too, as I randomly encountered her Sentinel Carnivore design through Google back when I was in middle school, and I was inspired to build a Lego/Bionicle model of one at the time! Eventually I think I reached out to her (or she found my post) and we hit it off on our mutual Sentinel obsession! :la:

And you're so right about this site changing, all the features and rearrangements are a lot to get used to. To be honest, I only come back here once in a while to share my most noteworthy posts so that they can appear in Google searches. My main social media presence is on Instagram (my tag is "mechanized_builds"), so unfortunately my work is not so easy to find in casual Google searches.

Anyway, I too hope we can chat with DrSkyTower again sometime soon! And I'm glad you and I could meet as well. I hope you have a Happy New Year too! :D

Here's the new MOC build I was experimenting with - in the wrong colours and some of the bricks aren't the right ones! It's called the FAS ACA4 Anubis, or Jackal for short. I rather like how the tail turned out, using lots of hinge plates. Now just got to build a leg, because this thing is twice as big as my lil Kitty Kat Korruptor!

Whoa, this is crazy! I like the shaping you have going on here, and the tail detail looks nice too with the alternating parts! I do dig your use of the chain pieces to simulate wires/cables, as well!

Keep it up, I think it'll be a great build, plus the sheer size is impressive! Thanks for sharing it!

thankyou! Those colours are so wrong it looks ridiculous, but now the weekend is here I'll do a leg and see how I go... it won't be in the right colours but it'll be good practice I think!
